A
pre-order is an order placed for a hot item which has not yet been
released! After we advertise gear for Doll's to purchase via pre order
gear, we place their "Pre Orders" with the
Manufacturer. 7 days from that day,
Pre-orders arrive to the Dollhouse. Once they arrive, we send them to
our screen printers/embroiders for branding the gear with our logo. The
branding process takes
approximately 7 days. When the item arrives b'huetifully branded, we
immediately ship the orders out to hue. The pre-order process takes
approximately 2 weeks.
Why purchase a Pre Order item? Why not wait until it's in stock in the BDA store? Because pre-orders are trends,
usually, by the time the shipment arrives to the dollhouse and you
start to see Dolls wearing their pre-ordered item, and decide that you
want one too, it's usually too late, as the trend has sold out and the
vendor is on to the next one. So when you see a pre-order, get it while it's haute!
How do I know if an item is a Pre-Order or available and in stock for immediate shipping? All items are marked with an availability
date. Pre Ordered items are placed in both the Apparel department AND
the Pre-Order Department. Look for phrases like: ships immediately,
back-ordered, pre-order, etc.
Please note gear credits, any type of discount [leadership, Black Doll
Card etc] cannot be used toward gear in this department.
Unfortunately, there is no way for our systems to know this. Therefore,
if you purchase gear using a credit or discount code we will bill you
for the additional amount owed before shipping.
Please note that on pre orders colors advertised may vary from colors
sent to you. Therefore, should your item arrive lighter or darker in
color, you may return [see our sales & return policy] but you're
responsible for return shipping.
